The well-known SWIFT electro-mechanical microscope slide stepper has been one of the
most reliable pieces of equipment in use in petrographic sciences but, regretably it is no
longer available.
Our PETROG Petrographic Analysis System is a radically new and purpose designed
hardware and software combination, specifically developed for petrographic data collection,
fully replacing the traditional and well known 12/20 channel point counter with the SWIFT
stepper stage, recording box and paper tick sheets.
